Lettering for P-S 1 "SHIP IT" 1955 scheme

Between July 1948 and September 1957, the FRISCO took delivery of 2,900 boxcars of the P-S 1 design with 10’-6”IH, as follows:

Paint & Lettering: Cars were painted freight car red: TCP-926, a red oxide shade. Underframe coated with black car cement.

SL-SF 17000 below, orignally delivered with the small monogram and no slogan on the right, displays it’s 1955 repaint scheme. Decal set designed and created at Protocraft Decals
