Lettering for KCS's 1937 AAR 50' automobile boxcars - as built scheme

The KCS Railway took delivery of 50, 50’ boxcars equiped with auto loading racks as deliniated by the white stripe on the right hand door. Built by Pullman-Standard, Lot 5682, and assigned series numbers 20851-20900. The cars were painted PPG Carhide KCS color (box car brown). Roof, running boards, underframe and truck side frames coated with black car cement. Wheels unpainted and left to gather rust, axle grease and road grime. Decal sheet designed and created at Protocraft Decals.
