In January 1941, the R.I. received 200, 50’ , 10’-6” IH auto boxcars from AC&F, Lot 2116 and assigned series 262800-262999. In November, 1946, the R.I. received an addtional 250, 50’, 10‘-6” IH steel auto boxcars from AC&F, Lot 2928, and assigned series 64000-64249.
