Lettering for 1932 ARA 9'-4" IH boxcars - 1935 to 1960 schemes

The C&O was the rst of two railroads (concurrently 500 with the same Lot number for the NKP), to approve and receive the new 1932 ARA
design boxcars. Six hundred fty cars arrived in August, 1935 from Pullman-Standard, Lot 5499, Series 7000-7649. They were designated Class
B5-3, but this class designation was dropped in late 1935.  Lettering and art work by Ted Culotta. Decal sheet designed and sized at Protocraft Decals.
