lettering set for 1926-27 50' wood sheathed autocars

In 1926 the D&RGW received 200 door and a half 50’ wood sheathed autocars from Mt Vernon Car Mfg Co, assigned Series numbers 61200- 61399. In 1927, the D&RGW received an additional 300 cars from Mt. Vernon Car Mfg Co as Series 61400-61699. These latter cars came with double-doors and Dreadnaugth ends (see over). Most of these cars remained in revenue service into the 1960’s, with the nal car, 61346 going o the roster in 1969.

Paint & Lettering: car painted freight car brown (matches chip for TCP-922) with black underbody. Lettering all white stencil paste. A 1/4” scale body casting in urethane produced by Rails Unlimited. Decal sheet designed and created at Protocraft Decals.
