Pullman-Standard built 500 cars under Lot 5799, as Series 64200-64699, and delivered to the Santa Fe in May/June 1945. Cars came with the new 4/4 Improved Dreadnaught Ends, early post-war style Youngstown corrugated doors, ASF A-3 Ride Control truck, Ajax hand brake assembly and Morton running boards and brake step. The Santa Fe often mounted the air reservoir transversly as in this car. The Fe-26 employed a heavy riveted lower side sill that ran the length of the car. Beautifully and accurately built in Korea by BooRim Precision, this is a unique model never before built in O scale. Only a total of 30 models built. PC-3315-P for Proto:48 and PC-3315-O for O scale.
