Philadelphia Quartz had two divisions, one in Philadelphia (PQX) and the other in Berkeley, California (PQCX). The Berkeley division had only a few cars: PQCX 108-110 built under AC&F Lot 1603 in January 1937, and PQCX 111-112, under Lot 2265 in May 1941. PQCX 113 below was purchased used and was built by Standard Tank Car in 1918. The tank was pressure tested on April 2, 1952
